Jana Kramer became famous on the television show, playing Alex in the One Tree Hill series' finale for the last three seasons. Her first few releases as a country artist appeared on the episodes of the show, which helped her debut album of the same name into the Top 20 of the Billboard 200. The actress was signed a contract in 2009 with Elektra Records, and she debuted her contemporary country love tune I Won't give Up during an One Tree Hill 2011 episode. The album climbed to third place among the Billboard 200 country charts and at number 10 on the Billboard 200. Starting in September of 2016, her two-month stint on the 23rd episode of Dancing with the Stars ended in a fourth-place finish. The same year she was also a part of an adult-oriented hit song with Feels Like Christmas featuring Straight No Chaser.
