LadyLady Gaga is an American pop singer, songwriter and actress who has an estimated net worth of $320 million. Lady Gaga, also known as Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta began her career by performing in musical theatre and burlesque in New York's East Village. She struggled for a couple of years, and finally was able to start her career in 2005 when she recorded her debut album and writing songs for artists such as Britney Spears, Fergie, and the Pussycat Dolls. The debut album, "The Fame", was not exactly successful, but five months after its release the album's first single, the album, "Just Dance", was playing everywhere. Her relentless touring in Europe and smaller clubs in the US has paid off and, by the close of 2009, a variety of songs from the album were regular airplay on radio stations and she received multiple Grammy nominations, and two Grammy Awards, for all of her dedication and perseverance. She has continued to produce outstanding music and has been the focus of attention since the time she released her album. A vocal social activist and an excellent exhibitor, her arrivals at awards ceremonies are often greeted with their own specialized coverage.
