
Colson Baker (born April 22 the 22nd of April, 1990) is an American singer and rapper. The rapper is known as Machine Gun Kelly (MGK), a songwriter, actor, and singer. Before signing with Bad Boy Records, Machine Gun Kelly (born April 22 the 22nd of April, 1990) is well-known for his hybrid style of alternative rock and hip hop. In 2012 the singer released Lace Up, his first studio album. It reached number four on the US Billboard 200. It included his breakout single "Wild Boy" and was performed by Waka Flame. General Admission (2015) and Bloom 2017 were his third and second albums. The latter was the one that featured the smash hit single "Bad Things", which was sung by Camila Cabello. The song peaked at number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100. The fourth album, Hotel Diablo (2019), included the rap genre of rock.Machine Gun Kelly released his fifth album, Tickets to My Downfall, in 2020. It marked a complete departure from hip-hop, and was a step into pop punk. It ranked first on the Billboard 200 and was the only rock album to reach the same rank. The single "My Ex's Best Friend" was also able to climb to number 20 on the Hot 100. It was followed up by Mainstream Sellout (2022) which also saw him attain the same commercial success. He has since appeared in the suspense film Nerve (2016) as well as the horror Bird Box (2018) and the comedy Big Time Adolescence and the biopic The Dirt (both 2019).
